Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks an Anesthesia Technician to provide technical support to the anesthesiology team and surgical staff. You will aid before, during, and after induction, pre-test machines, and assist with monitoring equipment setup.

The role requires maintaining sterile environments and restocking supplies. Responsibilities include room turnover, equipment cleaning, and collaborating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties
• Completion of coursework in medical terminology preferred
• Current BLS certification by American Heart Association required at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists and surgical staff before, during, and after induction
• Pre-test anesthesia machines and report deficiencies
• Prepare equipment for arterial lines, Swan-Ganz, and central line insertion
• Assist with sterile processing, cleaning, and restocking of supplies
• Maintain room turnover and ensure operating/procedure rooms are clean and ready
