Patients may range from neonate to geriatric under supervision of physicians and nurses. Two years of anesthesia or critical care experience are preferred, with a High School diploma or equivalent and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background preferred.
• BLS required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of an Anesthesiologist, CRNA or Registered Nurse, performs delegated anesthesia equipment prep and cleaning.
• Orders and prepares supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Observes universal precautions and ensures safety/infection control standards.
