Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Henderson, NV, seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia teams in the operating room. The role focuses on safe cleaning of equipment, ordering and preparing supplies, and ensuring adherence to infection control standards across surgical procedures for a patient population from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, effective cleaning of all anesthesia equipment and adheres to safety and infection control standards.
• Assists with ordering and preparing supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Observes universal precautions and supports the anesthesia team during procedures.
• Supports patient care from neonatal to geriatric ages as assigned.
