Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Manager to lead anesthesia support across the department. Under general supervision, you will oversee the Anesthesia Technician staff and coordinate onboarding, scheduling, and training to ensure safe patient care.

You will manage equipment, supply chains, and vendor relationships while aligning staffing with patient care needs and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or equivalent in a related field.
• 4 years of anesthesia technician/technologist experience (non-supervisory).
• 2 years of supervisory experience in an anesthesia setting.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs anesthesia support during all phases of patient care—induction, maintenance, and emergence—ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
• Manages timekeeping, payroll, and HR duties for anesthesia technician staff.
• Develops and implements daily anesthesia technician assignments to optimize workflow and support licensed providers.
• Analyzes operating room schedules and strategically allocates staffing and resources for full coverage.
• Directs onboarding and orientation programs, schedules, and in-service education on new technologies and best practices.
• Oversees equipment calibration and safety checks, ensuring compliance with standards.
