Job summary

Montage Health is seeking a Lead Anesthesia Technician/Technologist to supervise all anesthesia techs and ensure timely completion of duties per standards. You will work under the Anesthesiologist and report to the Assistant Director of Main Operating Room, coordinating tasks and training staff.

The role emphasizes developing standard work, prioritizing staffing, and maintaining equipment, with opportunities to mentor new hires and support patient care teams.

Qualifications

• Supervises all anesthesia techs to ensure duties are performed per standards.
• Coordinates training and continuing education for Anesthesia Tech staff.
• Develops standard work and schedules to provide adequate staff coverage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Charge Nurse to prioritize room turnover and setup of anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinates tech activities and delegates daily duties to support anesthesia care.
• Facilitates training of new hires and ongoing education for staff.
• Develops standard work, priorities, and schedules for staffing coverage.
• Resolves daily operational challenges and promotes teamwork.
• Communicates workflow issues to nursing staff regularly.
• Serves as a resource and role model to staff and helps resolve conflicts.
• Assists anesthesia providers by preparing and maintaining monitoring devices and delivery systems.
• Maintains proficiency with anesthesia equipment and troubleshooting.
