Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to join the Surgical Services Department. The role provides anesthesia support throughout the medical center under the supervision of the anesthesiologist and manager, assisting before, during, and after procedures in multiple operating rooms.

You will maintain, pack, and inventory anesthesia supplies and equipment, ensure carts and machines are ready, and assist with patient transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/HCP certification required.
• Prior experience in a hospital anesthesia department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
• Cleans, checks, and maintains anesthesia instruments and equipment.
• Provides direct, high-quality service to surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Ensures anesthesia carts and machines are ready in each room before surgery.
• Assists with preparation and handling of anesthesia supplies pre- and post-operatively.
