Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our Pre Surgical Screening unit in Boise. Schedule includes 2 shifts of 9 hours one week and 3 shifts of 9 hours the next week, Monday through Friday, 08:00–17:30, with no weekends or holidays.

The ideal candidate provides high-quality patient care, collaborates with the care team, maintains detailed nursing documentation, and adheres to safety policies.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Maintains accurate documentation of nursing services.
• Educates patient based on assessment of needs.
• Develops, implements and evaluates a plan of care.
• Communicates patient status and plan of care to other caregivers.
