Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs is seeking an Anesthesia Support role. The position is onsite, with evenings, full-time schedule (80 hours per pay period).

You will assist licensed anesthesia providers with patient care and equipment handling, maintaining readiness and safety in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; at least 6 months healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum Experience: 6 months of healthcare experience.
• BLS/CPR card must be valid through sixty days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sterilizes and sets up anesthesia equipment.
• Assists anesthesia provider with monitoring, transport, positioning, IV/invasive lines, and airway management.
• Provides daily maintenance of equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Maintains a sufficient inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision; uses critical thinking.
