Job summary

The Christ College in Cincinnati is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia care team by preparing and maintaining equipment, supplies, and systems across the OR and related areas.

You will assemble and calibrate anesthesia gas machines, assist with nitric oxide delivery, TEE, airway and line placement, monitor equipment readiness, and respond to emergency situations in accordance with department guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED; related technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years hospital experience or healthcare facility related to Anesthesia Technician; OR experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ASAII certification recommended within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up anesthesia gas machine and perform daily system checks.
• Assemble and assist with nitric oxide delivery system usage.
• Assemble and prepare 3D echocardiography (TEE) equipment and assist imaging.
• Ensure airway management supplies are ready and accessible for OR schedules.
• Assist with life-support equipment and line placement; support ACT as directed.
• Provide bedside assistance and transport patients as needed; help with equipment movement and setup.
