Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in perioperative protocols, sterilization, or clinical sanitation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation to MetroHealth facilities as needed.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia care provider with acquiring, preparing and use of equipment and supplies during anesthesia administration.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment: setup, calibration, cleaning, minor repairs.
• Participate in OR cleanup and turnover between cases.
• Take inventory and maintain anesthesia carts across locations.
• Assist with patient transport and return of equipment to storage after use.
• Perform routine duties per MetroHealth System policies and uphold standards.
