Job summary

METROHEALTH Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia care providers by preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies across the system. The role includes setting up carts, calibrating devices, and assisting with patient transport and OR turnover.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, perioperative experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse teams and patients across MetroHealth facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with perioperative protocols, sterile technique, or clinical sanitation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology used in anesthesia settings.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia care providers with equipment setup and usage.
• Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment and carts.
• Support operating room setup/cleanup for efficient turnover.
• Transport patients and return equipment to storage after procedures.
• Follow MH System policies and uphold mission and values.
