Job summary

IVIRMA is seeking an Andrology Lab Technician II in Clive, IA for a full-time position. The role focuses on endocrine testing, QC/QA, specimen handling, accurate reporting, and adherence to regulatory standards in a state‑of‑the‑art IVF lab.

General hours are 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with rotating Saturday coverage. You will perform daily QC, monitor equipment, process specimens, enter results, maintain documentation, and support the IVF program through meticulous lab work and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or Medical Technology/Technician degree.
• Two years of Andrology lab experience required.
• Preferred MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) certification; Endocrine laboratory experience; phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Quality Control (QC) procedures.
• Complete month-end QC and Quality Assurance (QA) activities in a timely manner.
• Monitor and inspect laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify and report discrepancies or trends to the Laboratory Supervisor.
• Participate in proficiency testing and ensure proper processing and documentation.
• Print and distribute patient reports to the nursing team.
