Description

If you have experience as an Andrology / Endocrinology Lab Supervisor and a passion for women's health and fertility, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Aspire HFI - Piney Point. This position provides direction and supervision for all complex andrology lab procedures required for infertility care and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

Responsibilities

• Oversee andrologists and all andrology lab procedures and practices daily.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Maintain quality control measures and clinical data for optimal lab performance and pregnancy outcomes.
• Develop expertise and improve the laboratory database continually.
• Perform routine semen analysis, preparation, and cryopreservation procedures.
• Manage data collection for compliance, re-certification, and organizational reporting.
• Ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain cryopreservation records and storage.
• Develop and implement new techniques, train staff accordingly.
• Work hours as needed, including weekends, to support lab operations.
• Maintain COLA and CLIA compliance through quality assurance.
• Discuss clinical data outcomes with care teams and physicians.
• Ensure a safe, appropriate environment for testing and staff safety.
• Coordinate testicular sperm aspirations with external physicians.
• Manage weekend call schedules for the andrology team.
• Foster good communication and relationships within the team and with other departments.

Knowledge and Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s in medical or biological sciences preferred.
