If you have experience as an Andrology / Endocrinology Lab Supervisor and a passion for women's health and fertility, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Aspire HFI - Piney Point. This position will provide direction and supervision for all the complex andrology lab procedures required for infertility care and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

Responsibilities:

1. Provide day-to-day oversight of andrologists and all andrology lab procedures and practices.
2. Ensure and maintain regulatory compliance with appropriate agencies.
3. Maintain and monitor quality control measures & clinical data to ensure optimal laboratory performance and outcomes.
4. Develop expertise in the use of and continual improvement of the laboratory database.
5. Perform duties in accordance with laboratory policy including: routine examination and analysis of semen samples during treatment cycles; preparation of semen specimens for treatment procedures; sperm cryopreservation procedures.
6. Collect and submit data for compliance reviews, re-certifications, and data submissions to specified organizations.
7. Ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
8. Maintain sperm cryopreservation records and storage of cryopreserved sperm.
9. Develop new techniques and implement new procedures into the laboratory as needed, ensuring staff are trained and competent in these procedures.
10. Work hours as required for the effective and timely performance of the laboratory, including weekends, based on operational needs.
11. Maintain quality control and assurance for COLA and CLIA compliance reviews.
12. Be aware of clinical data outcomes and discuss them with the clinical care team and/or physicians.
13. Ensure the laboratory's physical and environmental conditions are appropriate and provide a safe environment for employees.
14. Coordinate Testicular Sperm Aspirations with outside physicians when needed.
15. Develop and maintain weekend call schedules for the andrology team.
16. Contribute to team effort by maintaining good rapport and working relationships within the lab, other departments, and the network.
17. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in medical or biological sciences strongly preferred.
• Andrology Laboratory Scientist (ALS) certification required.
• Meet state-specific certifications/licensure requirements (e.g., Certified Lab Scientist (CLS)), if applicable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a human IVF laboratory.
• Successfully completed at least thirty supervised procedures of each type.
