Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of Android development with lead/principal-level experience.
• Mastery of Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Proven ability to define mobile architecture for large-scale apps.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or mobile-backend integration.
• Ability to mentor senior engineers and drive technical consensus.
• Experience writing extensive unit and UI tests.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural patterns and best practices for a new Android implementation.
• Mentor engineers and onboard new team members to reduce ramp-up time.
• Architect complex Android solutions leveraging networking and system knowledge.
• Lead mobile architecture decisions and integration strategies within the team.
• Collaborate with Distinguished Engineers to align with standards.
• Oversee the design system implementation across the Android codebase.
