Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an experienced Android Tech Lead to drive architecture and evolution of a new Android experience. You will mentor engineers, set best practices, and guide critical technical decisions across the mobile stack, collaborating closely with backend and design teams.

You will influence product architecture, shape team growth, and operate in a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and innovation, with both remote and office options available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Android development experience with leadership or principal responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Mastery of Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Proven track record defining mobile architecture for large-scale consumer apps.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) interactions or mobile-backend integration.
• Strong ability to drive technical consensus and mentor senior engineers.
• Experience writing and maintaining extensive unit and UI test suites.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural patterns and best practices for a new Android implementation.
• Mentor and onboard incoming engineers to minimize ramp-up time.
• Architect complex Android solutions with deep system and networking knowledge.
• Lead technical decisions within the mobile vertical on architecture and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with Distinguished Engineers to align mobile implementation with standards.
• Oversee the design system implementation across the Android codebase.
