Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Solution Consultant to support its Android reverse engineering program, analyzing Android apps and SDKs to identify security risks and provide actionable insights.

The role involves reverse engineering techniques, collaboration with security researchers, and contributing to secure application development. Remote role covering the United States, with a strong emphasis on threat intelligence and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Android development or reverse engineering.
• Experience analyzing malicious apps or SDKs.
• Proficiency with static and dynamic analysis.
• Experience with Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, Burp.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Deep Dive Analysis: analyze Android apps and SDKs to understand codebase, architecture and risks.
• Reverse Engineering Techniques: use decompilation, disassembly and debugging.
• Risk Identification: identify data leakage and malicious code execution.
• Threat Intelligence: analyze and report Android malware trends.
• Collaboration: share findings with researchers and developers to improve security.
