Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking an embedded software engineer to advance the Android Automotive OS security core. You will wire hardware-backed trust with Qualcomm TrustZone, secure transport, and network routing within a virtualized Android environment for connected cockpit platforms.

You will work across the Android stack, including framework services, system applications, and developer tooling, while aligning with security policies and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive.
• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or infotainment domain controllers.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm automotive platforms (Snapdragon Cockpit) or hypervisor environments (QNX, Type-1 hypervisors).
• Hands-on experience debugging SELinux policy denials (auditd) or managing multi-user environments in Android.
• Exposure to MQTT brokers and telemetry messaging patterns over cellular connections.

Responsibilities

• Develop platform security components and keep core services secure and compliant.
• Anchor hardware-backed trust with Qualcomm hardware and enable secure mTLS with backend services.
• Configure Android networking pipelines, APN policies, and DNS controls for private telementics and cloud traffic.
• Collaborate across Android framework stack, IPC and system services to advance cockpit experiences.
• Help shape architecture, code quality, and standards as software footprint grows.
