Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a mobile engineer focused on Android to design, build, and own growth surfaces across the mobile funnel. You will lead end-to-end experiments and own in-app purchase/paywall experiences, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer apps on Android.
• Strong native skills in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Experience owning a full release cycle: tooling, phased rollouts, crash and regression monitoring, and safe rollback.
• Strong execution: shipping many experiments and product improvements in parallel with clear outcomes.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or in-house).
• Comfort with data-informed decision-making and funnel data interpretation.
• Self-motivated with ownership instincts and proactive experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and own growth surfaces across the Android mobile funnel.
• Lead end-to-end experiments from hypothesis to rollout.
• Own in-app purchase and paywall surfaces, including billing integrations and pricing experiments.
• Build push and lifecycle notifications to drive retention and engagement.
• Collaborate with Design, Data Science, Monetization, and Growth to align across platforms.
• Partner with Growth to optimize app store performance and attribution.
• Hill-climb on key metrics with instrumented data and reliable experiment readouts.
