Job summary

Perplexity AI is seeking an Android Growth Engineer to own the full mobile funnel—from install to paid upgrade—for Perplexity, Comet, and Computer on Android.

You will lead experiments end-to-end, wire in-app purchase and paywall surfaces, ship notification experiences, and collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and the core Mobile team to make onboarding and growth surfaces feel native.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional mobile engineering on Android at meaningful scale.
• Strong Kotlin/Jetpack Compose skills.
• Experience with growth or experimentation-focused teams.
• In-app payments and paywall experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end growth experiments from hypothesis through instrumentation to rollout.
• Build and ship onboarding, paywall, and notification experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Mobile teams.
• Instrument experiments with analytics to prove adoption and impact.
