Job summary

Perplexity AI seeks a mobile growth engineer for iOS to own the full funnel—from install to paid upgrade—across Perplexity, Comet, and Computer. You’ll run experiments end-to-end, wire paywalls to billing, and ship native, durable growth surfaces with cross-functional partners.

You’ll push the boundaries of growth on a fast-moving team, balancing release cycles, store reviews, and platform fragmentation while delivering measurable improvements in activation, retention, and monetization.

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer apps on iOS.
• Strong experience with native iOS development and modern Swift/SwiftUI/Obj-C.
• Familiar with A/B testing and experimentation platforms and in-app payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end growth experiments from hypothesis to rollout across iOS.
• Design, build, and own growth surfaces including install, activation, onboarding, lifecycle, and paid upgrades.
• Own in-app purchase and paywall surfaces with billing integrations and pricing experiments.
• Build push and lifecycle notifications to improve retention and engagement.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Mobile teams to translate signals into durable product features.
• Move fast: ship many experiments in parallel while managing store release constraints.
