ether.fi in New York is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to build and evolve a secure, performant mobile app. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to turn ideas into reliable Android experiences.

You’ll work on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK, applying MVI and Clean Architecture to ship high-quality features with a focus on performance and security.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing native Android applications.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs.
• Solid understanding of MVI and unidirectional data flow.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of your work, and drive features from idea to delivery.
• Experience writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Build, and maintain modern Android application using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.
• Work alongside other engineers to ship high quality code and ensure engineering excellence.
• Apply modern architectural and design patterns (MVI, Clean Architecture, modularization, etc.).
• Debug, optimize, and improve application performance, stability, and security.
• Continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and best practices.
