Kforce is seeking an Android Developer in Wilmington, DE to help rebuild a mobile banking app using Kotlin and a modular architecture. You will write code, debug production issues, and collaborate with product owners and mobile architects to ship features that handle real customer volumes on a one-year engagement.

Requirements include 5+ years shipping production mobile apps, Kotlin/Android expertise, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, automated testing, and CI/CD for Android, with apps deployed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production mobile apps
• Deep, demonstrated Kotlin and Android SDK expertise
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose
• Strong grasp of Coroutines/Flow and modern Android architecture
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for Android

Responsibilities

• Write code and design systems for a modular Android architecture
• Debug production issues and ship features for a banking app used by millions
• Collaborate with product owners, mobile architects, and feature teams to ship from design to production
• Own the vertical design decisions to delivery and maintainability
