We are currently seeking an Android Developer in Irving, Texas to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

This position requires a hybrid work model, with at least three days per week on-site at our client's office in Irving, Texas.

Job Description - Android Developer

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Continuously improve your craft by learning and leveraging the latest design patterns, principles, and technology
• Provide deployment support and documentation
• Collaborate with designers to build and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible design systems
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum five years’ experience in:
• Writing reusable libraries
• Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin
• Remote data via REST and JSON
• Third-party libraries and APIs
• AMQ, MQTT, SQL Server, Web API / OData / REST

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of UI setup, creating reusable components, and Android design architectures
• Strong analytical and business logic skills
• Experience in financial services industry and regulated environments
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
