We are currently seeking an Android Developer to join our team in Irving, Texas.

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

This position requires a hybrid work model, with at least three days per week on-site at our client's office in Irving, Texas.

Job Description - Android Developer

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Continually improve your craft as a software engineer by learning and leveraging the latest design patterns, principles, and technology.
• Provide deployment support & documentation.
• Collaborate with designers to build and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible design systems.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ experience in the following:
• Writing reusable libraries.
• Android SDK, JAVA and Kotlin.
• Remote data via REST and JSON.
• Third-party libraries and APIs.
• AMQ, MQTT, SQL SERVER, Web API / OData / REST.

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of how to set up UI, create reusable components, and Android design architectures.
• Strong analytical and business logic design capabilities.
• Experience working in the financial services industry, regulated compliance environment.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
