JOB DESCRIPTION

KEPR has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Weather Anchor / Reporter. In this role, you will report 3 days during the week and anchor weather segments on weekends. You will also serve as the primary fill-in Weather Anchor during the week. Prior experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered.

Skills and Experience:

1. A self-starter capable of generating story ideas daily
2. Ability to demonstrate enterprise reporting and storytelling creativity
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and gather story ideas

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous anchoring experience (preferred)
• Flexible schedule
• Experience with live shots (preferred)
• Experience working in a team environment

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range is $17.00/hr to $19.81/hr, depending on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including a retirement plan, bonuses, insurance, health and dental coverage, paid time off, parental leave, and stock purchase plans.
