JOB DESCRIPTION

WCHS has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Weekend News Anchor / Reporter. In this role, you will produce daily content across various platforms including the internet and social networks, along with performing other duties as assigned by news managers. We seek someone with a strong ability to dig for stories, research thoroughly, write compellingly, and utilize storytelling and TV production skills to create impactful and memorable reports. Strong writing skills and knowledge of current events are essential. Dynamic live television and storytelling abilities are a must.

Skills and Experience:

1. A self-starter capable of generating daily story ideas
2. Experience in enterprise reporting and creative storytelling
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Active social media presence to build personal brand and gather story ideas

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Previous anchoring experience is required
2. At least 2 years of on-air experience
3. Live shot experience is required
4. Experience working in a team environment
