Job summary

Job description

Dispatcher position is responsible for coordination and assignment of outbound catering on the Customer Service dock.

Responsibilities

• Review dispatch sheet to check for any new routes and compare to daily schedule.
• Fill in gate and ship number.
• Assign specific flights for all scheduled personnel.
• Complete team sheets.
• Assign terminators and additional sections as required.
• Keep dispatch sheets current.
• Update gate changes/routings and canceled flights and relay information to drivers.
• Interact with other Customer Service team members to solve problems and resolve issues.
• Comply with Company SOPs – Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work as a member of the LSG Sky Chefs team to ensure the highest quality product is delivered to our airline customers.
• Coordinate other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask – handle multiple calls, radio, and face to face communications at the same time.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork in English.

• Must be flexible to work any shift/hours – shifts are subject to change due to shift bidding.
