Job summary

The University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor is seeking a Temporary Anatomical Laboratory Assistant to support the anatomical laboratories during the absence of the Anatomical Preparator. You will assist with donor handling, lab setup, and day-to-day operations.

This role emphasizes safety, dignity, and professional conduct when working with anatomical donors. Typical hours are mornings, with modest weekly hours, and you will collaborate with Donations staff, coordinators, and faculty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and care of anatomical donors used in educational programs.
• Safely move donor tables and anatomical donors within the laboratory and facilities.
• Assist with lab setup, maintenance, and breakdown for anatomy teaching activities.
• Clean and maintain laboratory floors and work areas.
• Support routine lab organization and operations to maintain a safe, clean teaching environment.
• Follow procedures related to donor dignity, safety, infection control, and lab operations.
