A leading healthcare system is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Supervisor to oversee lab activities and operations. This role involves quality control, training staff, and optimizing laboratory procedures. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and Certification as a Cytotechnologist. Experience in a supervisory role is valuable.
Primary Function
The primary role of this position is to supervise Anatomic Pathology activities under the direction of the CNE Anatomic Pathology (AP) Manager and to assist with the daily operations of the department.
Responsibilities
Job Qualifications and Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science is required; a master's degree is preferred. Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT, ASCP) is required. A minimum of six months of relevant experience or equivalent is required.
