Job summary

Advantra Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Anaplan Tester / QA Analyst with a strong focus on Financial Planning, P&L, and Balance Sheet testing for a remote, long-term contract.

Responsibilities include functional, regression, and BAU testing of Anaplan P&L and Balance Sheet models; validating actuals, budgets, forecasts, and variances; reconciling outputs against source systems; testing dashboards, reports, and end-to-end validation across Hub-and-Spoke models.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Anaplan testing experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, budgeting and forecasting models.
• Solid grasp of financial statements and FP&A workflows.

Anaplan Financial Planning Tester
Remote | Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Tester / QA Analyst with a strong focus on Financial Planning, P&L, and Balance Sheet testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and BAU testing of Anaplan P&L and Balance Sheet models
• Validate actuals, budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and variances
• Verify financial calculations including allocations, accruals, reserves, eliminations, and rollups
• Reconcile Anaplan outputs against source systems and expected financial results
• Test dashboards, reports, workflows, and cross-model data consistency
• Perform end-to-end validation across Hub-and-Spoke Anaplan models
• Identify and document defects, retest fixes, and maintain test evidence
• Support monthly planning, forecasting, close-related BAU cycles, and post-deployment validation
• Perform limited validation of Workforce Planning data where it impacts financial statements

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Anaplan testing experience
• Proven experience testing P&L, Balance Sheet, budgeting, and forecasting models
• Strong understanding of financial statements and FP&A processes
• Strong data reconciliation and financial validation skills
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Ability to work independently within a distributed/offshore delivery model
