Wellington Management Company, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a Supervisory Practices & Analytics Co-Op in Boston. You will gain exposure to governance, risk controls, and data-driven supervisory monitoring across a global investment platform.

The role emphasizes analytics, model risk, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal & Compliance and ERM. This co-op runs through December 2026 and is designed for Northeastern University students with prior co-op experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis or visualization tools; Python/SQL/Power BI a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in investment management, risk governance and financial regulation.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Investment Platform Morning Meeting logistics and capture action items.
• Assist with data-driven supervisory monitoring to identify trends and risks.
• Support conflicts-of-interest monitoring and review.
• Contribute to the model risk framework documentation and governance processes.
• Analyze data and prepare materials for supervisory meetings and escalations.
• Help develop dashboards and analytical tools for leadership visibility.
• Support reviews of supervisory processes for automation and scalability.
• Document supervisory procedures and governance processes.
• Collaborate across Investment Platform, Legal & Compliance, and ERM on cross-functional initiatives.
• Assist with priority projects as supervisory risks evolve.
• Lead monthly supervisory review meetings with senior leadership and investors.
