Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking a Northeastern University co-op student to participate in a comprehensive exposure across investment management, client service, and operations. You will engage with multiple functions, including legal, compliance, and information systems, supporting reporting and project work.

As part of the Wellington Trust team, you will gain hands-on experience in fund development, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while learning the nuances of an independent

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record, including relevant coursework in finance, economics, and/or management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Comfortable working in a deadline driven role, while achieving results with precision and efficiency.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization with high professional standards.
• Prior work in a financial or other client-oriented team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing analytical projects related to the business, regulatory and investment oversight of our funds
• Conducting financial and business analyses for the Board of Directors and other oversight committees
• Interacting with and building relationships across all functions and levels of the organization
• Supporting certain routine fund investor requests with reporting
• Assisting with systems-related initiatives, including quality-assurance reviews and development of requirements for new management reporting tools
• Leading ongoing ad hoc business-, product-, and finance-oriented projects
