LawnStarter is seeking a hands-on Analytics Governance Lead to own data trust across the organization. You will shape governance for data quality, lineage, and security, partnering with product, marketing, ops, and finance to deliver trustworthy metrics and scalable processes.

You will manage Lightdash rollout, data contracts, and BI governance while guiding future data strategy and enabling self-serve analytics at scale.

• You will own data quality, freshness, lineage, and governance standards across pipelines, reports, and events.

Responsibilities

• Own the data governance roadmap and prioritize work with product, marketing, ops, and finance.
• Ensure data quality and freshness with automated monitoring across sources and dashboards.
• Maintain data lineage and impact analysis from production to warehouse to BI reports.
• Administer Lightdash workspace, permissions, and rollout for self-serve analytics, while maintaining order.
• Guard the semantic layer with governed definitions per metric and prevent uncontrolled growth.
• Govern Segment event tracking, naming, and drift detection, aligning with production data.
• Oversee data security, privacy, and access controls, including PII handling and retention.
