Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking a dedicated analytics governance professional to support enterprise standards for analytics methodologies, risk management, and Responsible AI practices. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop workflows, reports, and controls that improve customer service levels and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating governance activities, leading meetings, and presenting analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in a related field required.
• Effective verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate, and implement changes to processes or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support management in evaluating, recommending, establishing, implementing and analyzing new and improved production workflows and procedures.
• Coordinate projects to enhance operational efficiency, controls, and performance.
• Compile and analyze operational data to identify business problems.
• Utilize reporting systems, participate in testing, develop procedures/controls, and recommend improvements.
• Provide status updates to leadership on projects and issues.
• Communicate policy changes to achieve project objectives and document procedures.
• Create and present reports and dashboards to display operational data and propose changes.
• Provide training and information to internal departments and external entities.
• Participate in special projects or workgroups as assigned.
