Job summary

Indigo Beam is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Houston to design, develop, and maintain our enterprise data platform. You will work across ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, semantic models, and certified datasets to ensure high-quality data for business users and analytics teams.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, experience with Azure Data Factory, and a solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI, or data warehousing.
• Strong hands-on SQL development with relational databases.
• Experience designing data warehouses; ETL/ELT pipelines required.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar cloud integration platform.
• Understanding of data modeling and analytical data structures.
• Ability to document technical solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse structures and data assets.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, transformations, and data models.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes from multiple sources.
• Develop and support data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Support semantic modeling and certified datasets for BI and analytics.
• Document data models, pipelines, and standards; participate in code reviews.
