Lindblad Expeditions seeks an adaptable Analytics Engineer in New York to design data models, build dbt pipelines, and deliver analytics across the business. You will partner with a business analyst and data engineer to shape data architecture, governance, and reporting while integrating AI-assisted insights.

The role emphasizes scalable Power BI reporting, KPI governance, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 5+ years in analytics or data related roles.
• Experience as analytics engineer or similar with data design and reporting.
• Snowflake or modern data warehouse experience; Snowflake preferred.
• Proficient in SQL; Python desirable.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Model and transform data using dbt across staging, intermediate, and data marts.
• Write SQL transformations to create analytics-ready datasets.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD for dbt deployments and data governance.
• Design Power BI reports and dashboards for cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers on data architecture.
