Job summary

Teknor Apex is seeking an Analytics Engineer co-op to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives using Microsoft technologies. You will contribute to Power BI report development and data validation while learning BI practices.

You will work on migrating Cognos assets to Power BI, collaborating with experienced engineers and stakeholders to deliver production reporting solutions. This role emphasizes hands-on learning and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Working knowledge of SQL required.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Assist with Microsoft Fabric semantic model development and maintenance.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for reports, data models, and processes.
• Support the migration of enterprise reporting assets from Cognos to Power BI.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Participate in testing and deployment of reporting enhancements.
• Present project updates and recommendations throughout the internship.
