Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a Data & Analytics intern to support development of strategic initiatives by turning data into actionable insights. You’ll collaborate across the organization to build Power BI dashboards, data flows, apps, and automated processes that improve data quality and governance.

You will gain hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate while contributing to real projects that drive the company’s data-driven strategy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field/coursework
• Manufacturing safety experience preferred
• Power Platform experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI lineage artifacts: Dataflows, Datasets, Reports, Dashboards
• Create standard and analytical Dataflows using SQL and M language
• Develop scalable Power BI Datasets with DAX and themes
• Develop intuitive reports focusing on optimal user interface/experience
• Develop and maintain Power Apps solutions including Apps, Dataflows, Dataverse tables
• Create apps to digitize and streamline manual processes (attendance, audit findings)
• Document and deploy Power App solutions using ALM best practices
• Develop and maintain Power Automate flows (desktop and cloud)
• Automate and standardize business processes within the organization
• Be active in analytics community and act as internal consultant to leaders
• Improve data quality via governance and standards
• Ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals
