Job summary

Stio, a remote role in the Finance department, is seeking a Data Analyst to join early in its Data & Analytics team. You will partner with stakeholders across Product Development, Marketing, DTC, B2B, Finance, Operations, and Planning to translate questions into analyses, dashboards, and data products.

You will build dbt models, maintain semantic contexts and dashboards, and ensure trusted data through tests and documentation while collaborating with AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst or similar role.
• Strong SQL and data wrangling skills.
• Experience with dbt and BI tools.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous questions into well‑defined analyses, dashboards, and data products.
• Build and maintain dbt models and the tests/documentation for trustworthiness.
• Develop semantic context, dashboards, and reports used by the business.
• Own metric definitions and drive alignment on meanings.
• Review AI‑generated SQL and Python code for semantic correctness.
• Investigate edge cases and reconcile conflicting definitions.
• Help evolve the data stack (Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, Python).
• Create useful data governance documentation for the team and business.
