Job summary

Stio is seeking a Data Analyst to join a fast-moving Data & Analytics team. This full-time, remote role collaborates with Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to expand how data informs decisions.

You’ll work with Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Power BI, GitHub, Python, and R, blending data engineering with analysis and BI development. You’ll translate questions into actionable insights, own metric definitions, and help shape the data stack while partnering with AI-assisted development

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role.
• Advanced SQL with CTEs and window functions; wrangling messy data.
• Hands-on dbt experience with models, tests, and documentation.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, etc.).
• Version control with Git/GitHub integrated in workflow.
• Experience using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Ability to reason about AI-assisted analytics output and build trust.
• Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort presenting findings to leadership in writing and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate questions into analyses, dashboards, and data products.
• Build and maintain dbt models with tests and documentation.
• Develop semantic context, dashboards, and reports used across the business.
• Own metric definitions and align semantics across teams.
• Review AI-generated SQL, dbt models, and Python code for correctness.
• Investigate data questions beyond the schema with source-system owners.
• Help build and maintain data infrastructure in Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, R, and Python.
• Improve data governance with useful documentation for AI context.
• Continuously develop skills as analytics practices evolve.
