Job summary

Nationwide Insurance seeks Analytic Consulting Advisor Intern to join the Enterprise Analytics Office (EAO) from May to August 2027 in Columbus, Ohio. You will collaborate with business leaders to design analytics solutions using AI, ML, SQL, and visualization tools and translate questions into actionable objectives.

You'll work on real-world projects embedded in a team, learning to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences while gaining hands-on experience with Python,

Qualifications

• Experience with analytics, data projects, or internships in technology or business.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Excel is preferred.
• Interest in AI/GenAI and communicating across technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define business needs and success measures with stakeholders.
• Translate objectives into analytic questions, project scopes, and solution approaches.
• Support project planning, risk management, and follow-up.
• Help apply analytics, modeling, AI/GenAI, experimentation, and visualization to business problems.
• Interpret data and analytic outputs to develop clear recommendations and decision materials.
• Create communications and deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support solution adoption and understand the analytic product lifecycle.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, curiosity, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
