Job summary

Octant is seeking an innovative Analytical Scientist to expand the Navigator platform for generating high-throughput ADMET datasets to enable DMPK models. The role blends analytical chemistry with computational data analysis, requiring hands-on lab work and collaboration across disciplines.

You will develop high-throughput DMPK assays and advanced LC-MS workflows, while working with ML teams to interpret complex data and push drug discovery forward in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology or related field.
• 3–5 years post-PhD in analytical/bioanalytical research; industry experience preferred.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, CAD/MS, and LC-MS/MS methods.
• Experience developing high-throughput DMPK assays for ML applications.
• Strong data interpretation using R, Python, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-throughput DMPK assays for ML methods.
• Identify, develop, and deploy chromatographic and MS methods for small molecules.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS and UHPLC methods across matrices.
• Analyze data using R, Python, and other computational tools; report findings.
• Collaborate with ML scientists, software engineers, biologists, chemists, and automation engineers.
