Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

What You'll Do
Advance Drug Development Through Innovative Science

Design, execute, interpret, and communicate a variety of in vitro ADME and DMPK studies, including:

  • Metabolic stability
  • Metabolite identification
  • CYP inhibition and induction
  • Solubility and permeability assays

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Transform complex scientific data into meaningful insights and client recommendations.
  • Prepare high-quality study reports, scientific summaries, and client presentations.
  • Investigate technical challenges and develop scientifically sound solutions.
  • Contribute to assay development, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure studies are executed to the highest scientific and quality standards while meeting client timelines and expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Partner with Industry-Leading Clients

As a key scientific contributor, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships with innovative pharmaceutical and biotech partners and act as a trusted scientific resource.:

  • Serving as a scientific point of contact for assigned client programs.
  • Participating in project kickoff meetings, scientific reviews, and client update discussions.
  • Providing technical expertise during proposal development and study design activities.
  • Supporting business development initiatives through scientific presentations and capability discussions.
  • Building strong client relationships through responsiveness, scientific excellence, and exceptional service.

Requirements

Required

  • M.S. with 3+ years of relevant industry experience; Pharmaceutical Sciences, Drug Metabolism, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience; or
  • B.S. with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience conducting in vitro ADME or DMPK studies.Experience within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
  • Strong understanding of drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, and drug-drug interaction assessment.
  • Experience with LC-MS/MS data interpretation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Experience in metabolite identification (MetID).
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidance related to DMPK studies.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
  • Familiarity with software such as MassHunter, Analyst, Phoenix WinNonlin, MetabolitePilot, or equivalent.
  • Previous client-facing experience.
  • Experience contributing to business development activities or proposal generation.
