Job summary

MSD in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Scientist to join the Small Molecule Analytical Research and Development group. The role focuses on GMP release and stability testing of APIs, formulations, and processes, applying both traditional and advanced analytical tools.

You will document results following ALCOA principles, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support audits. A BS with 3 years of experience or MS in Chemistry or Life Sciences is required, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• BS with 3+ years' industry experience or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Life Sciences.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• GMP operations and analytical method development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support GMP release and stability testing of APIs, formulations, and processes.
• Document experiments following ALCOA principles with accuracy.
• Troubleshoot GMP testing with cross-functional teams and Quality.
• Validate analytical methods for release and clinical material testing.
• Prepare analytical reports and data summaries.
• Collaborate with Analytical R&D and other departments; support audits.
