Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Greenville, NC seeks a Laboratory Team Leader to guide chemists and scientists in GMP-compliant analytics, training, and project management. You will mentor staff, allocate resources, and ensure high-quality data and timely reporting for client projects across pre-commercial and commercial efforts.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and collaboration within cross-functional teams, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule onsite at Greenville, NC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry (for Associate degree path)
• 8 years of professional experience (Bachelor’s path) in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry
• 6 years for Master’s degree path in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry
• 4 years for PhD path in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and work seated most of the day

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support development and growth of chemists/scientists in GMP documentation, client scope, and skills
• Schedule analytical work and review data packets and reports
• Develop and manage direct reports through training and mentoring
• Lead in quality and safety within teams and ensure SOP compliance
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and monitor KPIs
• Serve as Analytical representative for internal and external clients and CMOs
• Handle investigations for out-of-spec and deviations
