Job summary

Catalent’s Greenville, North Carolina site is seeking a Lab Intern to support laboratory operations. You will help maintain data integrity, follow established procedures, and document results under a mentor’s guidance.

This role offers hands‑on experience in a professional scientific environment with a Monday–Friday shift and a minimum of 15 hours per week, on-site in Greenville, NC. As part of the team, you will compare lab data to specifications, ensure calibration standards are properly used

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Must be located within 50 miles of the Greenville, NC site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity and good documentation practices during experiments.
• Compare lab data against specifications to determine if results meet requirements.
• Ensure proper use, care, and return of calibration standards (reference standards, timers, thermometers, instrumentation).
• Ensure accuracy of testing by following methods and internal SOPs to avoid repeat testing, deviations, and investigations.
• Enter data into established reports, templates, or software systems.
• Work under the guidance of a mentor and complete assignments accordingly.
