Position Responsibilities

The role involves leading laboratory operations, ensuring quality and compliance, managing budgets, driving performance improvements, supervising personnel, and collaborating across divisions to support manufacturing and quality assurance processes. Specific duties include:

  • Coordinating shift activities to meet key performance metrics in EHS, Quality, Finance, Productivity, and People
  • Managing laboratory staff, training, and development
  • Overseeing laboratory testing, compliance, and CAPA activities
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained and improved
Shift and Schedule
  • Thursday - Sunday, with flexible start days for Thursday and Friday
  • 10-hour shifts from 6 am to 4 pm
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, food technology, or related field
  • 2-4 years laboratory experience in a regulated industry (food, pharma, medical devices, cosmetics)

Preferred:

  • Experience in infant formula manufacturing
  • Knowledge of project planning and execution tools
