Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Science related Associate's or Bachelor’s degree acceptable with required lab studies and math.
• In compliance with federal law, must verify identity and work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Analytical testing on raw ingredients, in-process, and finished product.
• Obtain and test environmental samples for compliance to specifications.
• Maintain training documents and drive training.
• Identify and solve immediate problems with some assistance from supervisor.
• Initiate troubleshooting for minor testing problems.
• Identify out-of-specification conditions and report root causes.
• Perform all Chemist I functions as needed.
