Plansee Group USA in Towanda, PA is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for the Materials Analysis Laboratory to perform sample analysis, calibrate instruments, and maintain compliance with ISO17025 and LEAN practices. You will process production, R&D and raw material samples, applying chemistry and mathematics to improve methods and produce high-purity standards.

The role involves training staff, maintaining 5S, supporting high-volume analysis, and occasionally weekend shifts.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry beneficial.
• Knowledge of basic chemistry concepts and lab skills.
• Familiarity with lab safety and chemical hazards.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
• SAP proficiency and Microsoft Office skills expected.
• SPC knowledge desirable.

Mansioni

• Receive and process samples to identify suitability and determine test methods.
• Update SPC data, error logs, maintenance logs, and lab inventories.
• Develop and improve analytical techniques using chemistry knowledge.
• Analyze trace elements in waste disposal per DEP guidelines.
• Train and instruct staff to analyze samples and complete tasks.
• Maintain 5S and LEAN practices; adjust schedule for high-volume work, including weekends.

Formazione

Associate degree in Chemistry or related field

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry beneficial
